Santa Fe County Clerk Katharine E. Clark has been appointed to the Elections Infrastructure Information Sharing and Analysis Center (EI-ISAC) Executive Committee. This 12-member committee includes leaders from across the nation who provide strategic guidance to support the cybersecurity needs of election offices throughout the United States.
Clerk Clark is recognized nationally for her leadership in election administration and innovation. She currently serves as Vice Chair of the Elections Subcommittee for the National Association of Counties and is a founding executive committee member of the Partnership for Large Election Jurisdictions.
The appointment highlights Santa Fe County's role in modern, secure, and accessible elections. In 2024, under Clark's leadership, Santa Fe County received the Guardian Award from the Election Center for its achievements in election security innovation. The county has implemented advanced technology-enabled election security protocols, modernized infrastructure, and developed programs that enhance security, accessibility, and transparency.
"Serving on the EI-ISAC Executive Committee allows New Mexico to have a direct voice in shaping the future of election security," said Clark. "This is not just about protecting democracy at the national level—it’s about ensuring that every New Mexican can trust and participate in the electoral process."
The EI-ISAC is a national community of over 3,300 election officials and organizations providing cyber threat intelligence, best practices, and no-cost cybersecurity services to safeguard election systems.
