The Native Ways Federation (NWF) is continuing its #GiveNative campaign on Giving Tuesday, which falls on December 3, 2024. This initiative aims to raise awareness about the significance of supporting Native-led nonprofits during the globally recognized generosity movement.
Giving Tuesday follows Black Friday and Cyber Monday, marking a day dedicated to kindness and charitable giving. It encourages participation in acts of generosity and support for various causes.
In November, many observed Native American Heritage Month, a time for celebration and reflection on historical struggles and future challenges. The month serves as an opportunity to express gratitude for past achievements and to look forward to continued progress.
Wayne Ross and Nancy Starling Ross, members of the National Support Council and supporters of the Native American Rights Fund (NARF), expressed their backing: “We support the Native American Rights Fund because preserving the ancestral gifts and Native cultures is critical to the future of Native people; we support NARF’s mission to preserve for current and future generations of all people.”
The NWF thanks everyone who stands with them in advocating for Native rights this Giving Tuesday.
