a. Social Media Discussion & Progress
Board will set a meeting with Deputy CM to further discuss and present the need for MYAB to have a social media platform to reach youth and promote events and teen focused programming.
Discussion on Warehours 21 and how it can be utilized for youth. Additional information shortage and how to engage youth through social media.
7. NEW BUSINESS
a. Teen Night July
July 19, 2024 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM at BC Pool. Summer Pool party

• Pizza
• Soft Serve Ice Cream (Donated by Cafe Castro)
• Games and Prizes
b. MYAB Subcommittee Update
Teen Center Subcommittee: Meeting in August and September to up kitchen, food, and educational classes and programming
Mental Health and Substance Abuse Subcommittee: Jonathan Gordon from WAVE attending next meeting on 7/10/24 at 6:00.
c. City funds for MYAB
Funding awaiting City Leadership Allocation and approval.
50K budget reallocated to MYAB from Pre-Covid years:
Discussion into reorganization of MYAB. Methods to include outside organizations, collaborate and do more with MYAB.
d. Teen Center Back to School & Programming
1 year anniversary celebration of the Teen Center Opening. Video remake. and other back to school ideas.

Next 3 Teen Night Planning:
• August 16, 2024: Back to School Night at BC Pool
• September 27: One Year Teen Center Anniversary Celebration
• October 25: MYAB Masquerade Party at Downtown Library
Disability Pride Parade Saturday 7/13 9a-2p at St. Francis Cathedral Santa Fe. MYAB to attend.
