The program is coordinated by a five-person Organizing Committee comprised of poets and artists, who work alongside a seven-person Selection Committee representing the breadth of the poetry community in Albuquerque.
Former Albuquerque Poet Laureates include Anna C. Martinez, Mary Oishi, Michelle Otero, Manuel Gonzales, Jessica Helen Lopez, and Hakim Bellamy.
