Students from Albuquerque’s Native American Community Academy recently had the opportunity to immerse themselves in history at the Coronado Historic Site and Kuaua Pueblo. According to a statement from the Department of Cultural Affairs, the students engaged in learning "about the old ways of corn grinding on a metate, irrigation of crops, and water management" during their visit.
