MFA meeting highlights statewide outreach and project tours

The New Mexico Mortgage Finance Authority (MFA) announced it has conducted its monthly board of directors meeting at the New Mexico Farm & Ranch Heritage Museum in Las Cruces. During this event, MFA and the city highlighted statewide outreach efforts and offered impactful tours of various projects. The meeting took place on November 15, showcasing a blend of influential presentations, commendations and project visits.

On November 15, MFA's board meeting in Las Cruces, featured presentations by Jerry Pacheco, Border Industrial Association President/CEO, and Priscilla Lucero, Southwest Council of Governments Executive Director. MFA's Executive Director/CEO, Isidoro Hernandez, honored Tierra del Sol Housing Corporation for its 50th anniversary and commitment to affordable housing. Additionally, following the meeting, board members visited a rehabilitated veteran's house under MFA's Veterans Housing Rehabilitation and Modification Program, showcasing significant improvements facilitated by the Southwestern Regional Housing and Community Development Corporation according to a press release by MFA.

In addition to these activities at the board meeting was a vibrant expression from the CEO.
