SPECIAL FINANCE COMMITTEE / BUDGET HEARINGS MEETING 

1. CALL TO ORDER

The meeting was called to order at 12:33 p.m.

2. ROLL CALL

Emily Oster, Finance Director

Councilor Villarreal attended via zoom.

Mayor Alan Webber and City Manager John Blair in attendance.

3. APPROVAL OF AGENDA

No change from committee. No change from staff.

MOTION: Councilor Cassutt moved, seconded by Councilor Villarreal, to approve the as presented.

VOTE: The motion was approved on the following Roll Call vote:

Public Works overall presentation was presented by Director Regina Wheeler.

• Airport Division presentation presented by James Harris, Airport Manager.

• Facilities Division presentation presented by Sam Burnett, Division

Director.

• Parks and Open Space Division presentation presented by Melissa McDonald, Division Director.

• Parking presentation presented by Director Regina Wheeler.

• Complete Streets presentation presented by Director Regina Wheeler and Director Thomas Martinez, Director of Operations and Maintenance.

• Transit Division presentation presented by Director Thomas Martinez, Director of Operations and Maintenance.

MOTION: Councilor Cassutt moved, seconded by Councilor Lindell, to to the preliminary approval of the Public Works budget with option to make amendments.

VOTE: The motion was approved on the following Roll Call vote:

For: Councilor Lindell, Councilor Romero-Wirth, Councilor Rivera, Councilor Cassutt

Against: None

Abstain: None

Councilor Villarreal excused to attend another meeting prior to the vote.
