Patricia Irene Lovato

Pat “Patsy” Lovato, 67, was called home to be with the Lord peacefully in her sleep on Sunday, March 12, 2023, after a six-month battle with liver cancer.

Pat was born on June 28, 1955, in Albuquerque, NM to Willie and Laura (Estrada) Dominguez. She was later adopted by her grandparents Simon and Margaret Ybarra. She was raised in Albuquerque, NM as a child but Bernalillo was her home. In 1973, she graduated from Bernalillo High School. She later married Leroy Lovato on November 27, 1981, together they raised two daughters, Natalie, and Kristen.

Pat was a wonderful grandmother, mother, wife, aunt, sister, cousin, and friend. She was very caring and always put her family first. She had a witty personality and loved to laugh and make jokes. After retirement she devoted her life to her grandkids and taking care of her elderly mother. She will be deeply missed by everyone who knew her.

Pat was preceded in death by her father Willie Dominguez; brothers Michael “Bucky” Dominguez, Martin Dominguez, Ernie Dominguez, Gabriel Dominguez; and her sister Debbie Dominguez. She is survived by her loving husband of 42 years, Leroy Lovato; her daughters Natalie Lovato, and Kristen Lovato; grandkids Alexander Serna, Nevaeh Lovato, Emiliano Romero, Joaquin Romero, and Sebastian Romero; mother Laura Dominquez; sister Mary Gloria Barros; brother James Dominquez; and numerous cousins, nephews and nieces. Honorary pall bearers will be Frank Martinez, Alexander Serna, Nevaeh Lovato, Emiliano Romero, Joaquin Romero, and Sebastian Romero.
