Age 98, devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother passed away Monday, October 24, 2022. Dora was born and raised in Carnuel, NM a mother of 10 she raised her family with her loving husband Daniel. Dora enjoyed traveling, fishing, camping, flowers, gardening, shopping and making memories with her family. She loved to take care of her family by feeding them with her fresh tortillas. Until we meet again.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ignacio and Eulalia Lopez; husband Daniel H. Garcia; sisters, Carlota Paz and husband, Isidoro, Stella Rodulfo and husband, Antonio; brother in law, Gilbert Gutierrez.
Dora is survived by her children, Ruben W. Garcia, Joseph Fred Garcia and wife, Katherine, Gloria Gallegos and husband, Gary Michael, Barbara J. Pohl and husband, Henry, Marty D. Garcia, Lawrence D. Garcia and wife, Jennifer Loretta, Rosella (Rose) Garcia; 12 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; sister, Eustolia Gutierrez and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Special thank you to Linda Gutierrez for all your hard work and devotion to our mom and family. Thank you to the great people at Ambercare as well, for seeing us through this difficult time.
A Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 02, 2022 at 9:00 with a Rosary to be recited at 9:30 am and a Mass to be celebrated at 10:00 am at Holy Child Mission Church, 5 Herrera Rd. SE, Carnuel, NM. Interment to follow at a later date. Pallbearers will be Daniel L. Gallegos, Juan I. Pohl, Brandon D. Garcia, Alexander J. Blair, Melvin Rodulfo and Gilbert Gutierrez.
