Obituary

Melba Marsh, age 76, a dedicated mother and grandmother, passed away peacefully on Monday, August 29, 2022, after a battle with a long-term illness. Melba will be remembered for her passion for cooking, gardening and her love of her New Mexican roots, her strength, her dedication to her family, and her love of Christ.

She is preceded in death by her parents; Rodolfo and Elia Morales; and sister Marcella Lopez. She is survived by her children; son Preston Marsh and daughter Melissa Renteria; brother Rudy Morales and wife Linda; and children Troy, Albert, Brenda, and Rudy Jr.; sisters Mildred and Mercedes Morales; nephew Trini Lopez and wife Paula, and their children; Beth Ann, Shelby, and DeArmond; and grandchild, Julian Renteria.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, September 15, 2022, 1:00 p.m. followed by a funeral service from 2:00 p.m. at FRENCH-University. She will be laid to rest at Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery, 924 Menaul Blvd NE, 87107.
