Obituary
Ruth R. Detmer, age 88, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, August 27, 2022. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard C. Detmer; her son, Mark R. Detmer; and her granddaughter, Melissa S. Foster. She is fondly remembered by her children, Lisa R. Foster and husband, Bob, Jill Detmer and Todd Detmer and fiancee' Heather Brown. She was also blessed with seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Her passion was serving her Lord Jesus Christ with a special gift for prison ministry. She was well known for her depth of knowledge and understanding of God's Word. A Graveside Service will be held on Tuesday, September 6, 2022, at 1:30 p.m., at Sandia Memory Gardens, 9500 San Pedro NE. (one block east of I-25 and one block north of Alameda) followed by a gathering at Hoffmantown Church, 8888 Harper Dr. NE, Albuquerque, NM 87111. Memorials may be made to Hoffmantown Church Prison Ministry.
