Margarita "Magy" Meza, 61, went to be with our Lord on Sunday, July 10, 2022.
She was preceded in death by her father Germanico Meza.
Margarita is survived by her husband of 43 years Luis Escalante Jaramillo; son Henry Escalante (Elaina Escalante-Dinallo); daughter Yadira Escalante (Luis Pin); mother Blanca Meza; brothers: Gabriel Meza, Washington Meza, Jorge Meza (Estela), Jimmy Meza; sisters: Blanca Meza (Miguel Bajana), Olga Gutierrez, Nancy Meza (Felix Vera), Yudis Meza, Carmen Meza (Gino Sanchez); 6 grandchildren: Christal, Samantha, Matthew, Geneva, Arriana, Jordan; also many nieces, nephews, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, cousins and friends.
Margarita was the best cook EVER. She loved dancing. She was an exceptional care giver, she enjoyed caring for and loving her family. Her favorite phrases were, " Calabaza" and "a comer".
Margarita's Life Celebration will begin with a Visitation on Saturday, July 16, 2022 at 1:00pm at Reflections Chapel located at 2400 Washington St NE, 87110. Rosary will be recited at 3:00pm. Service will begin at 4:00pm. Margarita will be laid to rest in Monday, July 18, 2022 at 10:15am at Vista Verde Memorial Park Cemetery located at 4310 Sara Rd, Rio Rancho, 87124.

A Margarita le sobreviven su esposo durante 43 años, Luis Escalante Jaramillo; hijo Henry Escalante (Elaina Escalante-Dinallo); hija Yadira Escalante (Luis Pin); madre Blanca Meza; hermanos: Gabriel Meza, Washington Meza, Jorge Meza (Estela), Jimmy Meza; hermanas: Blanca Meza (Miguel Bajana), Olga Gutierrez, Nancy Meza (Felix Vera), Yudis Meza, Carmen Meza (Gino Sanchez); 6 nietos: Christal, Samantha, Matthew, Geneva, Arriana, Jordan; también muchas sobrinas, sobrinos, cuñados, cuñadas, primos y amigos.
Margarita fue la mejor cocinera del mundo. Le encantaba bailar. Era una cuidadora excepcional, disfrutaba cuidar y amar a su familia. Sus frases favoritas eran, "Calabaza" y "a comer". La celebración de la vida de Margarita comenzará con una visita el sábado 16 de julio de 2022 a la 1:00 p.m. en Reflections Chapel ubicada en 2400 Washington St NE, 87110. El rosario se recitará a las 3:00 p.m. El servicio comenzará a las 4:00 p.m. Margarita descansará el lunes 18 de julio de 2022 a las 10:15 a.m. en el cementerio Vista Verde Memorial Park ubicado en 4310 Sara Rd, Rio Rancho, 87124.
