Obituary

Naomi Wathen Whitaker, 72, a resident of Albuquerque, NM, since 1963, died Sunday, June 26, 2022. She is survived by her sons Michael and Jason; brother and sister-in-law, Tom and Liz Wathen; sister and brother-in-law, Mary and Larry Seibert; brother Mark Wathen; and 3 nieces and 2 nephews. Naomi was preceded in death by her parents, Vincent and Evelyn Wathen. Memorial Masses will be celebrated at 7:30 a.m. on Sunday, July 17, 2022, and 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 31, 2022, at Queen of Heaven Catholic Church. Interment will take place at Gate of Heaven Cemetery next to her parents. Should friends desire, memorial contributions may be made to Animal Humane Society of New Mexico.
