OBITUARY

Katie Contreras, age 83, born in Mountainair, New Mexico and a resident of Albuquerque, New Mexico, passed away on June 30, 2022. Mrs. Contreras is survived by her children, Irene Luna and husband, John, LuAnn Contreras and husband, Manny, Jesse Contreras and partner, Joseph Valdez; six grandchildren, six great-grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren; sister Carmen Padilla; She was preceded in death by her husband, Lalo Contreras; mother, Jossie Velasquez, and brother, Chris Velasquez . A Rosary for Mrs. Contreras will be held on Monday, July 18, 2022 at 8:15am with a Mass of a Christian Burial to follow at 9:00am at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church 5415 Fortuna Rd. NW.
