OBITUARY

Juan Esquibel, age 73, A resident of Albuquerque, NM who resided in Los Padillas passed away on June 4, 2022, with his family by his side. He is survived by his wife of fifty years, Teresa, their children: Pat Esquibel and Angela, Richard Esquibel, Marlene Esquibel and Mike Brinton, and Janelle Esquibel. Juan had 10 grandchildren Matthew, Marc, Alicia, Alyssa, Jenna, Angelo, Shawna, Michael, Jaelynn, Josiah, two great grandchildren Max and Mateo. Juan’s Siblings: Patsy and husband John Lopez, Yvonne Yanez, Levi Esquibel, Mark Esquibel, Dennis Esquibel, Luke Esquibel, and many aunts uncles cousins nieces nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents Levi and Susie Esquibel, brother Ricky Esquibel, brother-in-law Jose Yanez and nephew Daniel Esquibel.

He loved grilling, working on his 1957 GMC, watching his grandkids play sports, working in their garden, riding his tractor, and spending time with his family and friends and loved the Lord with all his heart. He was so loving and creative, he was there for anyone who needed help and always made a friend anywhere he went, he always made an impression and loved without saying a word. You will be missed more than you know. We were blessed to have you and I wish we had more time. Thank you for loving us unconditionally and showing us how to love others.

Juan leaves behind a legacy of serving his community by his selfless help to others and his country as a Vietnam Veteran. His humor, smiles and caring of others will be missed beyond words. The family would like to extend their appreciation for all the thoughts and prayers.

Viewing will be held on Thursday, June 16 at 5:30 pm with a Rosary to be recited at 6:00 pm. Mass will take place on Friday, June 17 at 10:00 am all services will be held at Church of the Ascension located at 2150 Raymac Rd SW 87105.
