OBITUARY
Jose Ignacio Gallegos, age 89, a resident of Albuquerque, New Mexico, passed away on June 2, 2022. Mr. Gallegos is survived by his wife of forty-nine years, Maria Theresa Gallegos; children, Anna Lujan and husband, Julian, and Cathy Salcido; fourteen grandchildren; forty great-grandchildren; one sister, Helen Armijo and one brother, Raymond Gallegos and wife, Michelle; brother-in-law, Fernando Sanchez; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Mr. Gallegos was preceded in death by his parents, Juan and Nicolasa Gallegos, siblings, Criselda and husband, Albert, Stella and husband, Pete, Virginia, Johnny and wife, Vicky, Freddie Gallegos and Paul, brother-in-law, Frank and grandson, David Salcido. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 15, 2022, at 9:45 a.m. at St. Anne Catholic Church 1400 Arenal Rd SW with a Rosary to be recited at 10:15 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. with Father James Sanchez presiding. Interment will follow services at San Jose de Armijo Cemetery. Pallbearers will be, Julian Lujan, Mario Salcido, Robert Salcido, Gabriel Lujan, Vincent Salcido, Jacob Lujan, Honorary Pallbearers will be Tobias Salcido and Michael Lujan.
