OBITUARY
Irene (Cervantes) Sena, age 70, born in Gallup, New Mexico and a resident of Albuquerque, New Mexico, passed away on May 31, 2022. Irene is survived by her children, daughter, Jeannette James and wife, Shawn Wayman, and daughter, Desiree Sena; Siblings, Dolores Vigil, Stephen Cervantes, John Cervantes, Dora Lajeuenesse, Phyllis Blea; several nieces, nephews, Godchildren, cousins, and friends. Irene was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest T. Sena Jr., son, Michael James, parents, Joe and Betty Cervantes, sister, Frances Cervantes, and brother, Anthony Cervantes. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 14, 2022, at 6:30 p.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church 562 Atrisco Dr. SW with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated on Wednesday June 15, 2022, at Holy Family at 10:00 a.m. Father Patrick presiding. Burial will follow services at Mt. Calvary Cemetery 1400 Edith Blvd NE. Pallbearers will be Ernest Cervantes, Roy Molina, Harold Lopez, Paul Zamora, Abel Abeyta, Hillary Blea. Honorary Pallbearers will be, Bobby Kenton, Albert Hernandez, Vince Albrycht, Andrew Blea, Gerard Martinez, Brent Jaramillo.
