OBITUARY
Marylou Chavez, age 63, a resident of Albuquerque, New Mexico, passed away on May 28, 2022. Marylou is survived by her children, Marlene Tapia and Danny Tapia; grandchildren and great grand-children; siblings, Joe Chavez, Barbara Chavez, Laura Chavez, and Patricia Chavez; and her beloved companion dog Chico. Marylou was preceded in death by her mother Sally Chavez and father Joe Chavez, brother Steve Chavez, and her best friend and beloved cat Lucy who provided her comfort and companionship for many years. Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 9, 2022, at 12:00 p.m. in the Mt. Calvary Chapel, 1400 Edith Blvd. NE, with a Rosary to be recited at 12:30 p.m. Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at 1:00 p.m. and burial will follow services.
