The All Together NM Fund is collecting donations for New Mexico residents who have been displaced or affected by wildfires in the state, a press release from the governor's office said this week.

The money will be raised in collaboration with the New Mexico Coalition of Community Foundations.

"It's no surprise that New Mexicans from around the state have been reaching out asking how to support their neighbors — that’s the spirit of our state and our compassion for our communities," Gov. Lujan Grisham said in the release. "I am grateful to the New Mexico Coalition of Community Foundations for operating a trusted avenue for New Mexicans to deliver support to those affected by these devastating wildfires, and I thank community members for their donations to this important relief effort."

Since March 2020, the All Together NM Fund has given more than $3 million to food pantries, food banks and small businesses, the release said.

The board of the Coalition of Community Foundations recently voted to approve the use of funds to help communities affected by wildfires, with approximately $100,000 in existing funds allocated to emergency shelter for residents who have been displaced by wildfires and evacuations, the release said.

Donations are tax-deductible and can be made online at AllTogetherNM.org, the release said. Donations made by check can be mailed to the Santa Fe Community Foundation; P.O.  Box 1827; Santa Fe, NM 87504 (please note "All Together NM Fund" on the check).
