Obituary
Virginia “Nadine” Hoff, age 95, a resident of Albuquerque since 1953, passed away peacefully on April 17th, 2022. She was born in Mammoth Spring, AR on November 4, 1926, and lived in Wichita, KS and EL Paso, TX before moving to Albuquerque. She is survived by her three daughters, Sherry Hoff Newbill (Richard) of Belen, NM, Terry White of Greely, CO, and Lou Ann Linder (Doug) of Albuquerque, NM; four grandchildren, Dawn Olson (Johnny) Greeley, CO, Doug White (Terasina) Greeley, CO, Ashly Wenger (Caleb) Albuquerque, NM, and Sarah Linder, Austin, TX; and six great-grandchildren. Nadine was preceded in death by her husband, Lee Hoff of 63 years; son-in-law, Steven White; and her five sisters.
Family meant everything to Nadine and she certainly was the heart and soul of her family. In her younger days she sang with the Sweet Adelines. Nadine was a lifetime member of Sombra Del Monte Church, Member of the Eastern Star, Amaranth, and White Shrine. She loved to dance at every opportunity including on her 95th birthday. Nadine loved to read, play card and board games and was especially good at playing corn hole right up into her early 90’s. She was dearly loved not only by her family, but by everyone who knew her.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 23, 2022, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at FRENCH-University. The Funeral Service will be Monday, April 25, 2022, 10:00 a.m. also at FRENCH-University. Interment following service at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul Blvd NE.
