OBITUARY
Brenda Lee Montoya was called to her eternal resting place on April 19, 2022. She entered this world on December 30, 1963. Anyone who knew her, knew she was an avid Dallas Cowboy fan and loved to flaunt it. At the heart of Brenda’s life were family and friends, whom she loved deeply. She will always be remembered for being a loving and supportive sister and aunt, and for being a committed and loyal friend. Brenda was preceded in death by her parents, Acacio and Dora Montoya, and her brother, Santiago “Jimmy” Montoya. The beneficiaries of her deep love are Clarence Montoya, Mary Louise Garcia and husband, Ruben, Paul Edward “Eddie” Montoya and wife, Angela, Patricia “Trish” Montoya, and Debra Abeyta. Many extended family members including nieces and nephews, David Abeyta Jr., Matthew Abeyta, and Dorinda Abeyta, Joshua Garcia and Jennifer Garcia, Christopher Montoya, Julianna Montoya, and Antionette Montoya. Brenda also had abiding love for her great-grand nieces and nephew, Ansity and Lennix Abeyta, Herema Abeyta, Natalia, Laila, and Gaby Garcia and Ezekiel, Ezavain and Azerilla Ramirez. All were true sources of joy for her. Brenda was a faithful member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. In lieu of flowers, we know Brenda would appreciate donations to Catholic Charities, 2010 Bridge Blvd SW, Albuquerque, NM 87105. Services for Brenda are pending.
