Obituary

 

Betty Lou Metheny passed away at her home in Albuquerque, New Mexico on April 3, 2022.  She was born in her home in St. Clair Shores, Michigan on July 10, 1942. 

She is survived by her loving husband, Robert Metheny of 58 years; three daughters, Roberta Sena, Tammy Metheny, Christina Metheny; three grandchildren, Joseph Sena, Stephanie Sena and Jessica Metheny; two great-grandchildren, Oaklei and Landon Sena; brother, Wayne Baker; and sisters, Beverly Baker and Phyllis Brand.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Wayne and Christine Baker and brother, Raymond Baker. 

Betty enjoyed taking family vacations, fishing, bowling, playing Bingo and most of all going to the casinos. 

Betty’s life will be celebrated on Friday, April 15, 2022, 2:00 p.m. at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul Blvd NE, Albuquerque, NM  87107. 

In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the family home, 10501 Irene NE, Albuquerque, NM  87112, so that her family may carry on her passion for life.
