Obituary

Sandy Ward passed away on March 14, at Rust Medical Center after a recent diagnosis of blood cancer. Born in Denver 50 years ago, Sandy spent most of his life in Albuquerque and was known for his dry humor and wide interests.

Sandy leaves behind many friends and an extended family. His mother, Patricia, died in 2002, and he is survived by an uncle in New York (Peter), and two aunts living in Pennsylvania, Margaret and Maryanne. His Uncle Bob died in 2002. In addition, Sandy has four cousins: James (Massachusetts), Jennifer (New Jersey), Michael (Pennsylvania), and Rob (Warsaw, Poland).

Sandy's funeral is scheduled for April 6 at 10:00 a.m. at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Albuquerque (7999 Wyoming Blvd. NE, Albuquerque). He will be interred in a niche next to his mother.
