David Hernandez, 80, went to be with our Lord on Tuesday, March 15, 2022.

He was preceded is death by his mother Jennie Hernandez; father Reyes Hernandez; brothers: George Hernandez, Gilbert Hernandez; sister Esther Stockton; nephew Adrian Hernandez; sister-in-law Rosa Martinez Hernandez; son-in-law Edward Larrañaga.

David is survived by his wife of 55 years Cecelia Hernandez; son Avery Hernandez; daughter Genevieve Larrañaga; brothers: John Hernandez (Bertha), Joe Hernandez, Jim Hernandez (Lourdes); sisters: Maria Theresa Hernandez, Rosemary Tatarian (Garo); four grandchildren: Kobee Larrañaga, Kacee Larrañaga, Alana Hernandez, Ava Hernandez, also 12 nieces and 4 nephews.

David loved Jazz music. He liked reading the Bible and political books. He was an avid gardener. He had special culinary skills with making the best quesadillas. His favorite TV program was PBS. Most of all David loved spending time with his family.

David's Life Celebration will be held on Monday, March 21, 2022 at 10:00 am at Salazar Mortuary located at 400 Third St SW, 87102.
