City of Santa Fe Mayor's Youth Advisory Board met Oct. 21.

MOTION: Member Gonzales moved, seconded by Member Pope, to The minutes were approved as presented.

5. PRESENTATIONS
a. Youth and Fentanyl in the Santa Fe Community (Bernie Lieving, Principal – The Lieving Group, Statewide Overdose Prevention Education Coordinator)
The board members received a presentation on youth and fentanyl use in Santa Fe.
b. Culture, History, Art, Reconciliation and Truth (CHART) Santa Fe (Pauline Kamiyama, Santa Fe Arts and Culture Department Director)
The board members recieved a presentation on CHART.
6. OLD BUSINESS
a. MYAB Subcommittee Breakout Sessions
I) Midtown Report Out
II) Teen Center Report Out
III) Youth Mental Health/Substance Abuse Report Out
The board members discussed how the subcommittee structure wasn't working for them given the amount of ‘other’ out of school activities happen for them. The board decided they would work on a single project that can include do events and possible volunteering.
b. 2022 MYAB Meeting Calendar
The board members reviewed and approved the 2022 meeting calendar. 7. NEW BUSINESS
