Obituary

Joseph Manuel Sanchez, "Manny", passed away December 15, 2021.  He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, nephew, and uncle.

Manny was preceded in death by his mother Anita Sanchez.  He is survived by his four children, J.M. Sanchez (Michelle), Ashley Sanchez, Tyler Sanchez (Sonya), Damon Sanchez, his father Manuel Sanchez, sister Linda Leong (Joe), 5 grandchildren, Caiden, Jaxon, Mckailynn, Miley, and Elijah and several nieces and nephews.

Manny was born in Las Vegas, NM and raised primarily in Albuquerque, NM. He was an employee of Intel for over 15 years and later graduated from Brown Mackie College where he earned his Pharmacy Technician license.  He continued in that profession with Walgreens until he retired.

He enjoyed camping, music, cars, and was an avid fan of the Dallas Cowboys.  He most enjoyed spending time with his family.  His smile and contagious laugh will be etched forever in our hearts.

The Holy Rosary will be prayed at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, January 21, 2022 at Sangre de Cristo Catholic Church, 8901 Candelaria N.E., followed by a funeral mass and reception. 

A private family burial will take place at St. Anthony's cemetery in Las Vegas, NM at 12:00 p.m. the following day.
