OBITUARY
Crespin Sanchez, age 74, of Albuquerque, New Mexico, passed away on January 5, 2022. He passed away at home surrounded by his loving family and friends. Mr. Sanchez, while attending Rio Grande High School, enlisted in the United States Navy in 1965 where he served his country proudly. Crespin Sanchez attended St. Joseph’s College and then moved onto CNM where he graduated with his Machinists Certification. He resided in the Los Padilla South Valley Community where was loved by many and will be missed by all. Crespin will continue to live his legacy through his survivors; son, Christopher Sanchez, and wife, Latisha and their children, Christopher, Matthew, Alesha, and Vicente; daughter, Christella Sanchez and husband, Anthony, and their children, Mikiella, Santiago, and Andrea; son, Ralph Sanchez and wife, Amanda and their children, Elias, and Jontelle; great-granddaughter, Mireya Sanchez; many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Mr. Sanchez was also loved by his companion for thirty-three years, Rose Chavez and children’s mother Stella Sanchez.
Mr. Sanchez was preceded in death by his parents, Abelino Sanchez and Felicita Moraga; brother, Abelino Sanchez Jr.; siblings, Lena Blea, Anita Padilla, Miramon Sanchez, Herman Sanchez, Robert Sanchez, Ersella Pena, Della Gallegos, Gilbert Sanchez, Irene Owensby, Anthony Sanchez, Merlinda Trujillo, and many, many nieces, and nephews. Visitation will be held on Monday, January 24, 2022, at 6:30 p.m. at Church of the Ascension 2150 Raymac Rd SW with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Tuesday, January 25, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. also at Church of the Ascension. Interment will follow services at Los Padilla’s Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Christopher Sanchez, Santiago Gallegos, Elias Sanchez, Matthew Sanchez, Anthony Castillo, Dave Lujan, Vicente Sanchez. Honorary Pallbearers will be Mikiellla Sanchez, Alesha Sanchez, Andrea Gallegos, Jontelle Sanchez, Mireya Sanchez.
