OBITUARY

Danielle C. Marquez, born November 27, 1973 in Albuquerque, passed away on January 9, 2022.  She will be missed by so many.  Danielle had a passion for taking care of others and finally followed that in 2018 and became a Certified Nursing Assistant.  She treated each patient as if they were her own loved one, always making each one feel comforted and special as she cared for them. She also loved animals and they seemed to always be drawn to her as well, which made her light up with such joy.

Danielle was preceded in death by her grandmother Dolores “Dodo” Marquez and great grandmother Margaret Perea.  She is survived by parents, Elizabeth and Albert Montano; siblings, Brandi Channon, Pauline Becerra (Steve), Renee Phillips (Fred), Albert J. Montano, Bridget Tapia; grandfather, Manuel "Magoo" Marquez; aunts and uncles, David Marquez (Stella), Margaret Vigil, Jolyn Medley (Michael); godmother Therese Marquez; cousins, Patrick (Maria), Anthony (Aryanne), Isaiah, Justin, Matthew; nieces and nephews, Quentin, Nick, Jessica (Patrick). Andrew, Alexandra (Demetre), Colandra (Vangie), Clay, Xavier, Donovan, Clayton, Catherine and many friends including her best friend since middle school Michelle Brito.

Services for Danielle are pending and will be updated on this website.  There will be a viewing on January 25 from 12:30 to 2:00 at Gabaldon Funeral Home 1000 Old Coors Dr. SW.
