OBITUARY
Florentino Martinez, age 86, born in Edgewood, New Mexico and a resident of Albuquerque, New Mexico, passed away on January 2, 2022. Florentino is survived by his three sons, Florentino Martinez Jr., Carlos Martinez and wife, Elizabeth, Greg Martinez and wife, Maria; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; siblings, Katie Montano, Henry Martinez, Carmen Prieto, Barbara Maldonado, Maria (Sylvia), Maese. Mr. Martinez was preceded in death by his wife, Rosella Martinez, parents, Mariano and Elvida Martinez, siblings, Leroy Martinez, Modesto Martinez, Juan Martinez, and Albino Martinez. Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 27, 2022, at 8:00 a.m. at Holy family Catholic Church 562 Atrisco Dr. SW with a Rosary to be recited 8:30 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:00 a.m. Father Patrick presiding. Interment will take place at the family’s private cemetery with Navy military honors for Mr. Martinez in Edgewood, New Mexico. Pallbearers will be Andrew Sanchez, Adam Martinez, Ryan Martinez, Florentino Martinez, Carlos Martinez, Greg Martinez
