Obituary
Blas Silvestre Vega, Jr., 28, went to be with the Lord and savior Jesus Christ on Tuesday, December 21, 2021.
He is predeceased by his father Silvestre Vega; sister Jovita Vega; maternal grandparents: Jimmy and Doris Lee; paternal grandparents: J. Blas Vega Arreguin and Jovita Martinez Ramirez.
Blas is survived by his mother Kathy Egues-Montero; brothers: Nicholas Silva; sisters: Rosita Castillo and husband Eli Castillo and Sylvia Castillo with husband LeWayne Castillo.
Blas was known as kind-hearted, respectful, funny, intelligent and had the brightest smile that could light up the room. He never asked for much, but always made sure you were taken care of. He made sure you experienced the very best of what He had to offer. He brightened the lives of so many with the his belly laughs and sense of humor. He was so rare. Heaven truly gained an angel worthy of his love.

Blas' Life Celebration will begin with a Service on Monday, January 3, 2022 at 1:00 pm at Salazar Mortuary located at 400 Third St SW, 87102. Blas will be laid to rest on Tuesday, January 4, 2022 at 1:00 pm at Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery located at 21 NM 118 Gallup, NM 87301.
Pallbearers will be TJ Vasquez, Jose Saul Quezada Castro, Mark Pitchford, David Neri, Christopher Leonard, Jotham Harry, Matthew Lee, and Juan Vega.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Kathleen Egues Montero, Rosita Castillo, Silvia Castillo, Kristen Castillo, Landon Castillo, Esperanza Castillo, Lael Castillo, and Mando "Onyx" Rusty.
