OBITUARY
Lucy Aragon, 81, of Albuquerque, NM was called Home to join our Lord on December 9, 2021. We humbly accept the Will of God and His plan for each of us. She will continue to be Lovingly remembered this day and all that may come. Lucy is survived by her children, Michael Apodaca and wife, Pamela, Viola Gallegos and husband, Arnold, Lorraine Luna, Eleanor Apodaca, John Humphrey and wife Dale, Lisa Cochrane and husband, Pat, Raymond Humphrey, Fred Bazan and wife, Amy. sister, Louella Perez; nineteen grandchildren; twenty-four great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild on the way; and many other extended family members. Lucy was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Aragon; sister Vangie Sanchez; grandson Tony Garcia. Lucy had an amazing strength about her which made it possible to carry out her many duties, obligations, and responsibilities in life as a mother, but she always found a balance by actively enjoying life to the fullest doing one of the things she loved most-dancing. Lucy had a beautiful smile and a very distinctive laugh that was contagious to those around her. She would often be seen enjoying the music at the fiestas, Spanish Village or wherever live music was being played, she truly was a great dancer, and now we know she is dancing with the Angels and the Love of Her Life, Paul, who would effortlessly glide her around the dance floor. She will be greatly missed as she smiles down on us from Heaven. A Visitation will be on Tuesday, January 11, 2022, at 6:00 p.m. with a Prayer service from 6:30p.m. to 7:30 p.m. in the Gabaldon Memorial Chapel 1000 Old Coors Dr. SW. A Communion Service will be held on Wednesday, January 12,2022 at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church 1860 Griegos Rd. NW. with a burial service to follow at the Santa Fe National Cemetery at 12:45 p.m. where Lucy will be laid to rest with her husband, Paul Aragon. Pallbearers will be Michael Apodaca, John Humphrey, Raymond Humphrey, Fred Bazan, Paul Griego, GeneRay Aragon.
