Obituary of Reyes Griego

Reyes Griego, Age 89 passed away Sunday October 31,2021 She was born in El Cedro, NM on November 9, 1931 but was a long time resident of Albuquerque.

  Reyes was a loving Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, Sister, Aunt and Friend. She enjoyed spending time with her family and was loved by so many. She had a smile that would brighten your day and will be deeply missed.

  Reyes is Preceded in death by her Father, Raymundo Griego; and Mother, Juanita Griego; Husband, Carlos Griego; Son, Emil R. Griego; Son-in-law, Mario Carrillo; Many Nieces Nephews and Siblings.

She is survived by her children, Carlos Griego Jr., Sally Carrillo, Grace Griego; Daughter in-law, Karen Griego; 4 Grand Children, Joseph Carrillo, Rebecca Ulibarri and Husband Leroy Ulibarri, Victoria Griego, and Eric Griego; 6 Great Grandchildren, and Numerous Nieces and Nephews.

The Family would also like to extend their deepest gratitude to the staff at Los Palomas and Hospice care.

Pallbearers will be Joseph Carrillo, Roger Nieto, Leroy Ulibarri JR. , Andrew Nieto, Robert Ulibarri, and Leroy Ulibarri SR.  Honorary Pallbearer will be Leah Ulibarri 

Viewing will begin at 7:30 AM at Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church located at 9502 4th St NW Albuquerque, NM 87114 on Thursday November 18, 2021 Rosary begins at 8:00 AM followed by Funeral Mass at 9:00 AM 

Reyes will be laid to rest at San Carlos Cemetery located at 4300 Alameda Path Albuquerque, NM 87113
