Alejandro Xavier Villarreal-Mathes (March 16, 2003 - October 31, 2021)

Alejandro Xavier Villarreal-Mathes passed away on Sunday, October 31, 2021, at the tender age of 18 years. Alejandro loved music. He also liked playing basketball, as well as gaming with his friends.

He graduated this last year from River Ridge High School in Lacey, Washington but had attended high school in Albuquerque at Atrisco Heritage High School prior to that.

He was a very social and outgoing kid with an energetic personality. He was called "Jano" by his family and "Alex" by his friends. He was kindhearted, loving, and his smile lit up a room. His dream was to be an entrepreneur.

He is survived by his mother, Diana Villarreal; his father, Kephran Mathes; his grandparents, Martha Villarreal, Eric Mathes and Juanita Wolff, Lynne Wagner; his aunts, Maria Fowler, Martha Villarreal, Elizabeth Villarreal, Tracy Villarreal; his uncles, Joel Villarreal, Sergio Villarreal, Chris Fowler; and his cousins, Seth VanHorn, McKenzie and Liam Henderson, Santiago Romero, Carter Fowler, Isabella Romero and Diego Villarreal.

Services will be held for Alejandro on Thursday, November 11, 2021, 1:00 p.m., at FRENCH - Westside.

The family will have a viewing the night before on Wednesday, Nov 10th, 2021, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., at FRENCH - Westside.
