Amazon is currently seeking to expand its workforce in the state of New Mexico, according to a KOAT report.

The company intends to hire 150,000 workers throughout the nation, including 1,800 positions in New Mexico.

"We've added over 250 fulfillment centers this year, we've added over 100 delivery stations. We're meeting customer demand and this hiring is going to make sure we deliver on the customer promise,” Amazon’s Vice President of Global Operations Human Resources Ofori Agboka told KOAT.

Delivery, inventory, and human resources are among the jobs available, with pay starting at $18 per hour. Amazon is also providing signing incentives of up to $3,000 for new employees.
