The Albuquerque Community Foundation is hosting the 40th anniversary of its Great Grant Giveaway event virtually.
"Nonprofits. Community. Giving. These are the pillars of our annual @GGGiveaway. Although we are unable to hold our event in person, we will continue the spirit of giving by distributing resources via our website & social media to [four] nonprofits! go.abqcf.org/ggg," the AAF tweeted on Oct. 14.
Flower Hill Institute, New Mexico Black Leadership Council, South Valley MainStreet and Tenderlove Community Center will be this year’s participants, according to the Great Grant Giveaway website.
“We invite you to join us on Facebook and Instagram from Oct. 18-22 to watch as we promote our nonprofit partners and share progress on grantmaking,” the AAF wrote on the site.
The public can support the recipients by giving any amount online, writing a check to the AAF and sending it to PO Box 25266, Albuquerque, NM 87125, or by buying a Traditional Table Grant to support an organization at $500.
