Here are the events happening in Santa Fe this week. 

Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta

Witness the most colorful event in New Mexico. There are still few days left until it ends on Oct. 10. Some of the events happening at the Albuquerque International Balloon are the fly-in competition and Afterglow Fireworks on Thursday, remote control balloons exhibition on Friday, Krispy Kreme morning glow on Saturday, and the farewell mass ascension on Sunday. Stay in Santa Fe and have a convenient shuttle to the festival.

Fall Activities at Ski Santa Fe

Every Saturday and Sunday until Oct. 10. Ski Santa Fe offers live music at La Casa Lodge. Controlled Burn and Half Broke Horses will be playing on Oct. 9 and 10 respectively. There’s also a beer garden and grill event at La Casa from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. every weekend, almost the same time as when the Super Chief Quad chairlift is running. The chairlift operates from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. Golfers can also play at the highest 18-hole disc golf course in the world, topping out at 11,564 ft, according to Ski Santa Fe.

La Emi Fall Flamenco Season

The Lodge at Santa Fe hosts the Fall Flamenco Series, which is performed by La Emi. Tickets range from $20 to $50. Purchase tickets and check out the schedules from this website. Vicente Griego with Gabriel Lautaro Osuna, Javier Saume Mazzei, Olivia Rojas, Carlos Menchaca, Daniel Peregrino and Merlot Visocaro will grace the show.

Santa Fe Society of Artists Outdoor Fine Art Show

Now in its 4th decade, the Santa Fe Society of Artists Outdoor Fine Art Show happens every weekend (9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.) at 122 W Palace Avenue featuring premier local artists and their artworks — sculpture, painting, printmaking, and photography.

Oswaldo Maciá: New Cartographies Of Smell Migration | Santa Fe

A multi-sensory sculptural and immersive installation by Colombian artist Oswaldo Maciá celebrates movement and migration through sound, smell, and sight. Presented by SITE Santa Fe, Maciá’s artworks are at 1606 Paseo de Peralta Santa Fe until Oct. 31.
