Obituary

Ted went home to be with Jesus, his Lord and Savior, on September 21st, 2021. He was a much beloved father, stepfather, grandfather and great grandfather.

Ted was born in 1930 in Chicago, Illinois and moved with his parents to Brooklyn, New York when he was in his teens. After high school he attended college in North Dakota and joined the Air Force during the Korean War. Ted served in Africa and was eventually stationed at Kirkland Air Force Base in Albuquerque, NM where he met and married his first wife Helen. He attended the University of New Mexico and began work at Gulton Industries, where he was a quality control engineer and worked on numerous aerospace projects.

Ted retired after 35 years and lived in Albuquerque and Chama, New Mexico with his second wife Muriel. He had a kind and generous heart and was always willing to lend a helping hand.

Ted is survived by his sons, Keith, Kris, Kevin, Kenny, Kraig; his step-children, Fay Harris, Cynthia Altonaga, Debbie Rider, Billy Baikie; 16 grandchildren; and great-grandchildren.

Services will be held Monday, October 25, 2021, 10:30 a.m. at Santa Fe National Cemetery.
