Juanita Vernice Davis, 96, was called home to Heaven on Saturday, August 21, 2021. She was born on June 10, 1925, in Perry, MI, to Roy William Wilkinson and Ethel Leila Hunt Wilkinson. She married Charles Davis on December 13,1953. Upon his death, she married Milton Davis in 2007. Juanita is survived by her son, Dale Perdew; his daughter, Amanda Perdew; and his three stepchildren, Jason Riley, Zachary Thompson, and Amber Thompson and 12 greatgrandchildren. She is also survived by her niece and husband Joyce and Tom Lopes; her niece and husband Pamela and Patrick Young; her great-nieces, Alyssa Young Hopkins and husband Joseph Hopkins, Leila Kinson, and Aeriyanna Young; her great-nephews, Warren Kinson, Ross Kinson, Austin Young and wife Brianna Young, and Aidan Young; and her great-great-nieces, BayLeigh Young, BeaYanna Hopkins, and Blakely Young. Juanita worked at Sandia National Laboratories for 20 years. She also served in the Nazarene Church as a Sunday school teacher for many years. A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, September 24, 2021, at Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery, 924 Menaul Blvd. NE.
