Mark Pacheco Sr. was called home by our Lord and Savior on Saturday, September 4, 2021 peacefully in his home. Mark is preceded in death by his mom, Shirley Lovato; his father, Freddy Pacheco and sister, Pamela Pacheco. He is survived by his wife, Yvette Pacheco; dad, Ruben Lovato (Pops); brother, John Chavez and wife, Nadine; daughter, Alexis M. Tito and husband, Matthew Tito; son, Mark Pacheco Jr. and fiancé, Victoria Betts; step-daughters, Michelle Hadder and husband, Richard Hadder, Amanda Garcia and husband, Abel Garcia, Kristine Lucero and fiancé, Martin Macias, Gabriella Sanchez and husband, Joseph Sanchez; 20 beautiful grandkids, nieces, nephews and five dogs: Blue Eyes, Cinnamon, Angel, Sissy, and Chico. Mark was a loving and caring man that put God first, loved helping those around him and made everyone around him laugh. Mark loved praying and spreading the word of God with his loving wife, fishing with his grandkids, playing softball on Saturday nights with The Unit, and helping anyone in need. Dominick (Nico), his #1, made him fall in love with being a Tata and his grandkids were his pride and joy! For 20 years Mark was an active member of San Clemente Parish in Los Lunas and for the last two years a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish in Peralta, NM. Mark was an active member and served as a Facilitator in the ACTS Core within the Catholic Church.
It was Mark’s wish that any contributions to his family be made in honor of him to the Liver Foundation, planting a tree or sending flowers to the family/funeral home.
We, the family, would like to thank everyone for all the prayers and support on our journey sending our beloved Mark home to his eternal Father.
Visitation will be held at Strong Throne Funeral home with the Rosary to follow on Thursday, September 23, 2021 starting at 6:00 pm. Funeral mass will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church on Friday, September 24, 2021 at 9:30 am with the burial to follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery.
