Obituary
On Sunday, August 29, 2021, after battling COVID-19 with underlying issues, Karen Bartlett was taken from us far too early in her life. Karen was born to Wilbur L. Drake and Connie Drake. Karen is survived by her mother, Connie; son, Robert (spouse, Sarai); daughter, Ariel (spouse, Matt); two grandchildren, Blake and Carter; three sisters, Deb, Gayle, and Laurie; and two brothers, Richard and Don. Karen always dedicated her life to others. From raising her two children as a single mother, to most recently helping care for her mother, Karen was always there when someone needed help. She was a mentor and an example of hard work and love. She will be missed.
The funeral will be held at Sunset Memorial for immediate family on Saturday, September 11, 2021, 2:00 p.m., 924 Menaul Blvd NE.
