OBITUARY
Nieto, Rosalia
Rosalia "Rose" Nieto was born January 22, 1945 in Juan Tomas, NM. She was preceded in death by her son, Steve Montoya; her parents and her ten siblings. She is survived by her son, Ray "Leonard" Montoya and wife, Kristin; daughters, Charlene Suchla and husband, Tim, Margaret Ortega and husband, Keith, Rebecca Montoya and her beloved dog, Chloe; five grandchildren, Steve Montoya, Lorraine Zamora, Stephanie Montoya, Yvette Zamora and Ezekiel Ortega; seven great grandchildren, and would have welcomed her eighth in September. Rose was a faithful member of St. Anne Catholic Church for nearly 60 years. She was devoted to her family, enjoyed playing bingo, going to the casino, dancing and sharing family memories.
A viewing will be held from 6:00 -7:00 pm with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 pm on August 23, 2021 at Strong Thorne Chapel, 1100 Coal Ave. SE. Mass will be hold Friday September 10, 2021 at 9:00 am at Saint Anne Catholic Church, 1400 Arenal Rd SW 87105 burial to follow in Juan Tomas, New Mexico. She will be laid to rest at the family cemetery in Juan Tomas, NM immediately following the Mass.
