Armada health care's new owner will 'carry on the tradition of quality care'

Albuquerque home health care company Armada has a new owner as part of a $29 million deal, and more than 1,000 New Mexicans could be affected.

Stoneridge Partners, a national health care mergers and acquisitions advisory firm, recently announced the completion of two transactions affecting healthcare facilities in the state and across the country, according to a press release

The firm represented Armada Skilled Home Health and Hospice during its purchase by Addus HomeCare Corporation. 

"I was so pleased to have had the opportunity to represent Armada in this transaction," Ben Bogan, Stoneridge Partners executive vice president, said in the release. "Addus has a very successful home care operations in New Mexico with an outstanding reputation in the state, and I know they will carry on the tradition of quality care that Armada has established in its market area. This acquisition will enable even more residents of New Mexico to access exceptional care in the home."

Armada currently provides services to more than 1,000 patients in Bernalillo, Sandoval, Valencia, and Torrance counties, according to the press release, and new options will be available. 

The firm also represented Paradigm Health, a provider that specializes in hospice and palliative care, during Havencrest Capital Management's purchase of a majority interest in the company, the press release stated.
