Eduardo "Lalo" Romero, age 48, of Albuquerque, New Mexico, passed away on Sunday, July 18, 2021.
Lalo Romero was born to Irma and Erasmo Romero on July 8, 1973, in Los Angeles, CA. He attended Pater Noster Catholic High School. During his senior year of high school, he played basketball as an Eagle, and graduated in 1991.
Lalo is survived by his daughters, Victoria Alexis Romero and Samantha Romero, his parents, his seven siblings, and his German Shepherd, Ramses. He was preceded in death by his son, Christopher Eduardo Romero.
Lalo was a car enthusiast and loved to work on them. At the age of 16, he even rebuilt a Volkswagen engine. He was very innovative and could fix almost anything. He was passionate about learning and began studying astrophysics. His other hobbies included traveling and caring for his German Shepherds.
Lalo was a hard worker, earning an Electronics Engineering Technology degree from ITT Technical Institute, and was elected to membership in the National Vocational-Technical Honor Society because of outstanding scholastic achievement and success. He went on to work for Kroger and Intel as an engineer.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 28th, 2021, from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., FRENCH - Westside.
A private graveside service for family and friends only will take place on Thursday, July 29th, 2021, at 10:00 a.m.
