Obituary
Patrick Josey, 64, loving son and father, passed away Thursday, December 10, 2020.
He loved to cook, read and play the bag pipes. Patrick used to say to his children "Be good, be kind and be careful".
He attended Our Lady of Fatima Grade School, St Pius High School, and graduated from UNM with a degree in Chemistry. Mr. Josey had a long career working for Los Alamos National Labs, The State of New Mexico and El Paso Natural Gas Co.
He is survived by his children, Caitlin Josey of Albuquerque, Brian Josey PhD of Arlington, VA and Colin Josey PhD of White Rock, NM and former wife Becky Josey of Santa Fe. He is also survived by his mother, Anne Josey of Albuquerque; brothers, Michael Josey of Berthoud, CO and John (Eileen) Josey of Dallas, TX; sisters, Suzanne (Tom) Smith of Farmington, NM, Kathleen Green of Albuquerque and Margaret (Jason) Parker of Longmont, CO; and a number of friends and other family members. Patrick was preceded in death by his father, Robert Josey; brother-in-law, Larry Green; and nephew, Mathew Josey.
Rosary followed by Mass will be celebrated Friday, July 23, 2021 beginning at 10:30 a.m. at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church, 4020 Lomas Blvd NE.
