OBITUARY

Bessie (Lovato) Lujan, age 80, born in Cuba, New Mexico and a resident of Albuquerque, New Mexico, passed away on July 4, 2021. Mrs. Lujan survived by her seven children, David Lujan Jr. and wife, Ida, Erelda Sedillo and husband, Alex, Thomas Lujan and wife, Valerie, Rhonda Chavez and husband, Herman, Yolanda Gonzales and husband, Eloy, Nelson Lujan and wife, Paulette, Patricia Smith and husband, Tim; brother Charlie Lovato; nine grandchildren, Santiago, Joseph, Nicole, Monique and husband, Jeremy, Kayla, Adrian and wife, Erica, Adam, Isabella and Liliana; eight great-grandchildren; many brother and sister in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends Mrs. Lujan was preceded in death by her husband, David Lujan; parents, Cosme and Rosa Lovato; sister, Irene Angus; brother, Vilo Lovato. Visitation will be on Monday, July 12, 2021 at 6:30p.m. in the Gabaldon Memorial Chapel 1000 Old Coors dr. SW with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. by Sally Lujan. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. at St. Edwin Catholic Church 2105 Barcelona Rd. S.W. with burial to follow Mass at Mt. Calvary Cemetery 1900 Edith Blvd NE. Pallbearers will be, Tim Smith, Herman Chavez, Eloy Gonzales, Alex Sedillo, F.J. Perea, David P. Salazar.
