OBITUARY
Jeanette Angelique “Bubbles” (Segura) Barela, age 51 born in Albuquerque, New Mexico passed away June 4, 2021. Jeanette is survived by her husband, Joe Jerry Barela; step-children, Carlos Barela, Lee Barela, and Elizabeth Barela; step-grandchildren, Miranda Barela, Bubba Barela, Audrianna Barela; parents, Freddie and Viola Segura; sisters, Leonette Archuleta and husband Mike, Geraldine Segura, Donna Velarde, Suzanne Garcia; Godchildren, Candice Archuleta, Nicholas Rubio; along with many nieces, nephews, cousins, and loving friends. Jeanette is preceded in death by her step- daughter Jamie Barela; grandparents, Juan and Maxine Madrid, Bonifacio and Carmen Segura. A visitation will begin at 6:30pm with a Rosary to be recited Thursday, June 17, 2021 at 7:00pm at Gabaldon Memorial Chapel located at 1000 Old Coors Drive SW 87121. Mass of Christian burial will be held the following day Friday, June 18, 2021 at 11:00am at Holy Rosary Catholic Church located at 5415 Fortuna Rd NW, Albuquerque, NM 87105. Burial will take place at Mount Calvary Cemetery located at 1900 Edith Blvd NE, Albuquerque, NM 87102. Pallbearers will be Santiago Archuleta, Manny Sedillo, J.J. Segura, Lee Barela, Arsenio Sanchez, and Nicholas Rubio. Honorary Pallbearers will be Stanley Aragon, and Jesse Martinez.
