Eastern New Mexico University (ENMU) has announced that 481 students are set to graduate in the fall 2025 semester, as the university also reports a nine percent increase in enrollment for the upcoming spring term.
The fall commencement ceremony is scheduled for Saturday, December 13, at 10 a.m. and will take place at the Steve Loy Family Foundation Arena. During this event, ENMU will confer a total of 511 degrees. Of these graduates, 63 students will receive honors. The breakdown includes 157 associate degrees, 205 bachelor’s degrees, and 149 master’s degrees. Those unable to attend can watch the ceremony online through live coverage on the university’s website at enmu.edu/Commencement.
Enrollment figures show that as of November 30, ENMU's headcount stands at 2,911 students, compared to 2,670 at the same time last year. This represents a nine percent increase in enrollment for spring 2026. Final enrollment numbers will be confirmed at the start of the spring semester.
ENMU Chancellor James Johnston commented on these developments: “This is the cycle of higher education and the milestones we celebrate. We celebrate the earning of a college degree with our graduates and their families at commencement, and at the same time celebrate the beginning of an educational journey for our new Greyhounds.”
University data indicate growth across all student categories, including returning sophomores, juniors, seniors, concurrent students, and graduate students entering in spring.
