The Silver City Patrol has been recognized as the winner of the 2025 Ben Lopez Memorial Best Patrol award by the New Mexico Department of Transportation (NMDOT). The patrol outperformed six other districts in a statewide competition, showcasing excellence in organization, cleanliness, equipment maintenance, and roadway management.
Judges traveled across New Mexico to evaluate each patrol's performance and upkeep. The recognition highlights the Silver City Patrol's dedication to maintaining high standards in their operations.
