The University of New Mexico (UNM) is encouraging community support for its football team ahead of the upcoming game against Colorado State. In an announcement, UNM urged fans and local leaders to participate in "Lobo Friday" on November 14, the day before the game, by wearing red Lobo gear. The initiative aims to boost attendance and create a strong home atmosphere at University Stadium.

A spokesperson stated: "Let’s rally to sell out University Stadium for Coach Eck and our Lobos. Be sure to encourage employees to wear red Lobo gear next Friday — especially those who greet the public."

This season, the Lobos have achieved a 4-0 record at home for the first time since 1962. The university is asking supporters to help maintain this undefeated streak by attending the game and showing visible support.

The matchup between the New Mexico Lobos and Colorado State Rams will take place on Saturday, November 15, 2025, at 1 p.m. at University Stadium. To encourage family attendance, children aged 12 and under will receive free admission. Tickets can be purchased online via Lobo Tickets.

"Let’s paint the town red next Friday and stay undefeated at home," the announcement said.
