The Mega Millions jackpot has reached an estimated $900 million for the drawing scheduled on Tuesday, November 11, 2025. This marks the 39th consecutive drawing since the last jackpot was won on June 27, 2025, when a player claimed $348 million with a cash value of $155.5 million.
According to the New Mexico Lottery, this is now the eighth largest jackpot in Mega Millions history and is approaching the billion-dollar threshold. The organization issued a reminder to participants: "As excitement builds around this jackpot, the New Mexico Lottery reminds players to play responsibly and that Lottery tickets are for ages 18 and older."
Mega Millions tickets are priced at $5 per play. The game also offers non-jackpot prizes, which can be multiplied by random multipliers ranging from 2X to 10X. "Each Mega Millions play includes a random multiplier that multiplies non-jackpot prizes. This means that every non-jackpot win will automatically multiply its base prize by 2X, 3X, 4X, 5X, or 10X." To date, six players in New Mexico have won non-jackpot prizes between $1 million and $4 million.
Tickets for Mega Millions are available in 45 states as well as Washington, D.C., and the U.S. Virgin Islands. Drawings take place at 9:00 PM Mountain Time on Tuesdays and Fridays.
Since its inception in 1996, the New Mexico Lottery has contributed over $1.09 billion to education funding through Legislative Lottery Scholarships. More than 155,000 students have benefited from these scholarships to attend college.
